Understanding general settings

General settings enable you to tailor options to meet your specific preferences and requirements. These adjustments affect the SCM interface for all administrators within your account globally.

General settings can be managed on the General page.

The following table describes the controls on the General page.

Control	Description
Date Format	The format that dates are displayed in throughout SCM. The possible values are: mm/dd/yyyy dd/mm/yyyy yyyy-mm-dd
Change Domain Validation Status to Action Required	The number of days before domain validation expiration that the domain’s validation status will change from Validated to Action Required.
MRAO must approve domain delegation	When configured, MRAO approval is required for domain delegation.
Enable CAA Check	When enabled, SCM will check for CAA records during domain control validation (DCV).

Edit	Opens the Settings dialog where you can manage general settings.
