Adding SCEP RA certificates

Add a SCEP RA certificate

  1. Navigate to Enrollment  SCEP.

  2. Click SCEP RA Certificates.

  3. Click the Add icon.

  4. Select Manual, and click Continue.

  5. Complete the SCEP RA Certificate fields based on the information provided in the following table.

    Field Description

    Name

    The name of the SCEP RA certificate.

    CA Backend

    The associated CA backend responsible for issuing certificates.

    SCEP RA Certificate

    The PEM encoded certificate or certificate chain.

    In the case of a certificate chain, the end-entity certificate must be listed first.

    RA Private Key

    The PEM encoded private key associated with the SCEP RA certificate.

  6. Click Save.

Automated SCEP RA certificate renewal occurs 60 days before the certificate’s expiration date.

  1. Navigate to Enrollment  SCEP.

  2. Click SCEP RA Certificates.

  3. Click the Add icon.

  4. Select Automated, and click Continue.

  5. Complete the Request SCEP RA Certificate fields based on the information provided in the following table.

    Field Description

    Name

    The name of the SCEP RA certificate.

    CA Backend

    The associated CA backend responsible for issuing certificates.

    Email

    The email address associated with the SCEP RA certificate request.

    Organization

    The organization associated with the SCEP RA certificate request.

    Department

    The department, if applicable, associated with the SCEP RA certificate request.

    Profile

    The certificate profile to be used for certificate issuance.

    Term

    The validity period of the certificate. The available terms are dependent on the certificate profile.

    Key Type

    The key size or curve to be used to generate the cryptographic key pair.

  6. Click OK.
