Understanding ACME accounts

ACME accounts are key entities that exist in creating auto-renew SSL certificates. They serve as the connection point between SCM and the ACME client on your web server.

ACME accounts can be managed on the Manage ACME Accounts page.

The following table describes the settings and controls of the ACME Accounts page.

Element	Description
Name	The name of the ACME account.
Status	The status of the ACME account. The possible values are: Pending — The ACME account is not connected to an ACME client. Valid — The ACME account is connected to an ACME client. Suspended — The ACME account has been suspended because there is no active subscription.
Admin controls
Add New	Opens the Add New ACME Account page where you can add a new ACME account.
Manage	Opens the Manage ACME Account page where you can update the existing ACME account.

Element

Description

Name

The name of the ACME account.

Status

The status of the ACME account.

The possible values are:

Pending — The ACME account is not connected to an ACME client.
Valid — The ACME account is connected to an ACME client.
Suspended — The ACME account has been suspended because there is no active subscription.
