Managing the SiteLock Trust Seal

Configure the SiteLock Trust Seal

  1. Navigate to your website’s comprehensive view.

    For more information about the comprehensive view, see Comprehensive site view.
  2. In the tab bar, click Security Report.

  3. In the SiteLock Trust Seal panel, click Customize.

  4. On the configuration page, complete the fields based on the information provided in the following table.

    Field Description

    Language

    Select the language you want the Trust Seal to display.

    Color

    Select the color theme for the Trust Seal.

    Size

    Select the size for the Trust Seal from the dropdown menu.

    Style

    Select the style that best matches your website.

  5. Under Install Code, copy the provided code snippet and paste it into your website’s HTML where you want the Trust Seal to appear.

    Common placement locations include the index, header, or footer files. If your site uses a CMS (such as WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal), you may also have dedicated header/footer custom-code widgets where you can easily insert the snippet.
  6. Click Save Configuration Settings to apply your changes.

    Updates may take up to 24 hours to appear on your website. If the Trust Seal is still not visible after this period, contact SiteLock Support for assistance.
  7. On your website, click the Trust Seal to verify the details page is working correctly and displays the expected information about your website’s security status.
