Firewall & CDN

The Web Application Firewall (WAF) protects the site against malicious attacks. The Content Delivery Network (CDN) distributes the website content geographically, bringing it closer to where visitors are in order to speed up access. The Firewall & CDN page displays the website’s traffic and threats in one view.

Summary tab

Displays a wide variety of data related to traffic to the site and threats found.

Name Description

Visitor Statistics

The chart displays the selected statistic.

  • Human Visitors: The total number of human visits to the website within the selected time period.

  • Bot Visitors: The total number of bot visits to the website within the selected time period.

  • Total Sessions: The total number of visits to the website, both human and bot, within the selected time period.

Cached Data

This represents the total volume of both regular and cached data delivered via the CDN during the specified time period.

Cached Requests

This indicates the total number of requests served, either regularly or from the cache, through the CDN during the specified time period.

Browser

This section lists the specific types of browsers used to access the website.

Country

This section identifies the countries where the website traffic originates.

This is strictly visitor traffic origin, and not the location of SiteLock Points of Presence (PoPs).

Found Threats

This panel appears only when threats are detected by the firewall. It displays the number and types of threats detected and blocked.

Click View Threats to take further action.

Upgrade

This section lists additional features that are available if you choose to upgrade your subscription.

Displays the status of the Firewall & CDN components:

  • Overall status

  • Traffic Routing

  • CDN

  • Firewall

Found Threats tab

Displays all mitigated threats and provides additional data information, including options for managing detected threats.

Mitigating Threats

To further mitigate these threats, drop-down options are available for IP Address, Country, and Application.
