Managing notification templates

Edit a notification template

  1. Navigate to Settings  Notification Templates.

    To edit organization or department notification templates, navigate to the Organizations page, select an organization or department, and click Notification Templates.
  2. Select the notification template you want to edit, and click Edit.

  3. Complete the Edit Notification Template fields based on the information provided in the following table.

    Field Description

    Recipient Type

    The method used to deliver the notification.

    The possible options are:

    • Email

    • Slack

    • MS Teams

    • Webhook

    Notification Type

    The type of event that triggers the notification.

  4. Customize the notification template based on the information provided in the following table.

    The fields and variables available depend on the type of template you are creating.
    Field Description

    Insert Variable

    Insert variables in the Subject or Body fields. Variables are replaced by values that correspond with the details of the event that triggers the notification.

    Subject

    The subject heading content included in the email notification.

    Body

    The body content included in the notification.

    Content Type

    The format used to send the notification.

    The possible options are:

    • HTML — When selected, content is sent in rich text format.

    • TEXT — When selected, content is sent in plain text format.

    • JSON — When selected, content is sent in data-interchange format.

  5. Click Save.

Delete notification templates

  1. Navigate to Settings  Notification Templates.

    To delete organization or department notification templates, navigate to the Organizations page, select an organization or department, and click Notification Templates.
  2. Select the notification template you want to delete, and click the Delete icon.

  3. Click Delete.
