How the Login Process works
When a user attempts to log in to your WordPress site, the SiteLock plugin implements several security measures to ensure the integrity of the login process:
-
Login Lockout — The plugin monitors failed login attempts and temporarily locks out users after a specified number of unsuccessful tries, mitigating brute-force attacks.
-
Force Logouts — Administrators can enforce logouts for inactive sessions, reducing the risk of unauthorized access from unattended devices.
-
Password Strength Enforcement — The plugin can enforce strong password policies, requiring users to create complex passwords that are difficult to guess.
-
Login Activity Log — All login attempts are logged, allowing administrators to review and monitor login activity for suspicious behavior.
| You must have a valid SiteLock license to use the plugin’s security features. If you do not have a license, you can purchase one from the SiteLock website. |
