Messages

The Messages page helps you to control welcome and alert email messages sent to your customer.

Welcome email

By default, SiteLock sends a welcome email to your customer upon purchase. If you would rather send your own welcome email, select No for the Send Welcome Email setting.

Alert emails

By default SiteLock sends out alert emails. If you want to send custom messages to your customer, select Yes under Send Your Own Alert Emails section.

You will need to use the SiteLock API to retrieve alert messages from the message queue and mark them as sent.

If you take over alert emails, you also need to specify whether you want to receive all or only critical messages through the SiteLock API. You can do it in the Message to Receive From Sitelock API.

If you choose No under the section Send Your Own Alert Emails, SiteLock will continue to send alert emails to your customer. You can include a link to your control panel in these emails by selecting Yes under the section Include Your Own Control Panel Link in Alert Emails, and adding the link to your panel’s login page in the Your Control Panel Link field.
