Billing and payments

The Billing and Payments page contains settings for customizing the workflow for your customer to purchase products within the SiteLock Customer Dashboard. There are two major purchase workflows controlled by the Upgrade and Add Site settings.

Upgrade

This workflow is triggered when the customer clicks Upgrade on the Overview page to provision or upgrade a product. There are three paths within this workflow:

Path (Configuration) Description

Disabled (Default)

The Upgrade button isn’t displayed for the customer.

Pop-up Prompt

A pop-up message is displayed to the customer. The message can come in two forms:

  • Default Text: A default message provided by SiteLock and translated into the customer’s dashboard language.

  • Custom Text: A custom message provided by you in the Custom Text field.

Redirect to Custom URL

SiteLock redirects the customer to the URL you specified.

This redirect can be configured to contain an optional pop-up message. The configuration options include:

  • No Prompt: No message is displayed to the customer, and they are immediately redirected to the provided URL when they click Upgrade.

  • Default Text: A default message provided by SiteLock and translated into the customer’s dashboard language. The customer is redirected to the URL when they click OK within the pop-up.

  • Custom Text: A custom message provided by you in the Custom Text field. The customer is redirected to the URL when they click OK within the pop-up.

Add Site

This workflow is triggered when the customer clicks Add Site on the Overview page to add an additional website for scanning or other purposes. There are three paths within this workflow:

The Add Site button isn’t displayed for the customer.

A pop-up message is displayed to the customer when they click Add Site. The message can come in two forms:

  • Default Text: A default message provided by SiteLock and translated into the customer’s dashboard language.

  • Custom Text: A custom message provided by you in the Custom Text field.
