Prerequisites

  • A Linux client machine. The connector officially supports Ubuntu 20.04 and RHEL 8.6.

  • System requirements:

    • (Minimum) A single-core CPU, 1 GB RAM, 100 MB of free space

    • (Recommended) A dual-core CPU, 2 GB RAM, 1 GB of free space

  • HAProxy Community or HAProxy Enterprise 2.6 or later

  • HAProxy Data Plane API, including HAProxy Process Manager

    For installation instructions, see HAProxy Community or HAProxy Enterprise.

    For a sample Data Plane API configuration file, see Sample Data Plane API config file.

    Make a note of the Data Plan API username and password that you specify while creating the /etc/haproxy/dataplaneapi.hcl file. You will need these credentials when configuring the connector.

  • An active SCM account

  • An organization registered with SCM

  • The ACME service enabled and the ACME server endpoints configured

  • An ACME account registered for the organization

  • External Account Binding values obtained

  • Domains validated in SCM
