Prerequisites

  • A Linux client machine with root privileges. The connector officially supports the following versions:

    • CentOS 7.3, 7.7, 7.9, 8.3

    • Ubuntu 20.04, 24.04

    • RHEL 7, 8

  • System requirements:

    • (Minimum) A single-core CPU, 1 GB RAM, 100 MB of free space

    • (Recommended) A dual-core CPU, 2 GB RAM, 1 GB of free space

  • Python 3.6 or later

  • pip3 package manager

  • Network access to the BIG-IP appliance(s) from client machine

  • Network access to PyPI during connector installation

  • A BIG-IP user account with the Administrator role

  • F5 BIG-IP 13.x or later

    The connector officially supports F5 BIG-IP version 16.x.

  • BIG-IP appliance(s) and certificate details for the configuration file

  • An active SCM account

  • An organization registered with SCM

  • Domains validated in SCM

  • The ACME service enabled and the ACME server endpoints configured by your Sectigo account manager

  • An ACME account registered for the organization
