Updated:

  • Multi-year token-based (Sectigo-provisioned) Code Signing certificate offerings have been discontinued. Multi-year offerings are supported only through remote provisioning (x_keyAttestation).

Added:

  • Support for Document Signing certificates for remote provisioning. The x_keyAttestation, x_hsmType, and csr request parameters are now applicable to these certificate types.

  • New possible values for the x_hsmType request parameter: FORTANIX, YUBIHSM2, NSHIELD.

  • A note indicating that continued use of email-based DCV methods is discouraged, in line with CA/B Forum Ballot SC-090.

Removed:

  • Deprecated PDF-Signing certificates.

Removed the shippingPostOfficeBox request parameter as delivery to PO box by courier is impossible. This parameter will be ignored if included in the request.
