Overview

The CollectSSL API endpoint is designed to collect SSL certificates and their detailed information.

Sectigo provides a "push" notification mechanism that alerts partners when their certificates change status or are signed and available.

Partners can choose to receive the signed certificate along with the certificate chain, or opt out of receiving the certificate directly and instead use the status notification to trigger a call to the CollectSSL API.

While the push notification system significantly reduces the need for frequent polling of the API, we acknowledge that it may not eliminate it entirely.

If you prefer to continue polling for certificate order status, we recommend doing so no more frequently than once every 3 hours.
