Maintaining SiteLock products

The Sectigo Partner Portal allows you to maintain the status of your SiteLock purchases. As a Sectigo Reseller, you can cancel, renew, or refund SiteLock products.

Renewing SiteLock products

SiteLock products can be renewed through the AutoApplyOrder API at any time during the 30-day renewal period before the expiration date. Renewal through the SRA web interface isn’t currently available.

Refunding SiteLock products

SiteLock products are refundable within 14 days of the purchase. Refunding a product means that that product will no longer actively protect your website or associated domain(s). Refunds are only available for products that have been purchased with an annual license. A monthly license is non-refundable.

To refund a SiteLock product:

  1. Log in to the Sectigo Partner Portal.

  2. Under My Account Areas, select Sectigo Reseller.

  3. Select Report on Your Orders under Reporting Facilities.

    The Report on Your Orders page contains fields where you can search for information about SiteLock products you have previously purchased.

  4. Enter the search criteria. You can search for SiteLock purchases by entering the product’s order number, which can be found in the order confirmation email, or by the date of purchase, or by other product criteria information.

  5. Click Run report. You will be redirected to a page which displays your search results. From here, you can see which products are eligible for a refund.

  6. Click Refund next to the product that you want to be refunded.

    If the Refund button is labeled in green, the product is eligible for a refund. If it’s labeled in grey, the product isn’t eligible for a refund. Hover the mouse over the Refund button to view the refund eligibility details.
  7. In the Customer Refund Order window, select a reason for requesting a refund. The order can be refunded only if it meets refund policy requirements.

    Once you have refunded a SiteLock product, the Refund button next to that product will turn red. Move your cursor over the button to view the refund details.

Cancelling SiteLock products

SiteLock products can be cancelled using the API request. If you’re not using an API to manage your SiteLock products, contact Sectigo Support to have a SiteLock product canceled.
