Push notifications

Mark certificates generate push notifications for certificate issuance and only specific status changes, enabling systems to receive real-time updates for those supported events. This mechanism reduces or eliminates the need to poll the API for order status updates.

When push notifications are configured, the system sends updates for events such as:

  • Completion of Domain Control Validation (DCV)

  • Completion of organization or identity validation (for VMCs)

  • Certificate issuance

Partners can optionally configure the push payload to include:

  • The signed certificate

  • The complete certificate chain
